Hey folks,
I have a 02 TLS w/navi and I am currently debating whether to get the Acura Care Extended Warranty or not before the milleage goes up and so does the price.

For those who do not have the extended warranty, do you regret not having it ?

My main reason to get it is to insure the navi system just in case "sh!t happen".

Please advice since I could spend this $$$ somewhere else ... like header ?

extended warranty only 1.5-2k... if you own TL this shouldt be a problem...suppose the NAV system or the AC or your TRANSMISION go bad...whatcha gonna do...spend 1k for the NAV, 3K for the AC, or 3-4K for the new tranny...its up to you...

the tranny is covered till 100k you wont be able to get the bennifit out of the warranty with the factory 100k

 

I personally think it's a waste of money unless you ask for it when you buy the car, dealers tend to give you a better deal when they want to sell you a car.

 

How about for us late 2003 people. We don't get the extended transmission warranty, but I still am suspicious. Best price I was quoted was $1200 for 7/100 w/ $0 deductable for offical Acura care. What do you think?
