Does it mess up?
When people are shopping for rims to buy for their car, you have to think about certain things. Like if you change the width of the rim from an origonal 6.5 in to a 7.5 what can happen? Same thing if you go from a 16 to 17" rim. Does it mess up the shocks and struts. Are you at more advantage if you stay with the same size rim the manufacturer intended to put on the car. Or are you sacrificing gas, ride comfortability, for style and looks.?.

You can find the offset # for your rims inside the well of your rim if not it should be labled on the box that the rims came in.
Going up in rims size 16-19 does effect ride comfort a little.. the size tires you get also can effect ride comfort.. the thicker the tire the smoother the ride and vice versa thinner tires give a more rough ride.. on rough roads..
there's a lot of thing to think about when getting rims
