Hey guys i was wondering if the normal bolt ons voids the factory warranty?? i have a AEM CAI installed and i have to take it in this friday to do some service. they have to change the timing belt tensioner and check the trans. does anyone know if acura will void my warrenty if they see the intake installed? or should i take the CAI and put back my stock airbox?? thanks. j

Shouldn't have any issues - only time they really fuss is when your "mod" may be related to to an issue you are having.

No, they legaly can not void your warrenty.

just watch out for subura! if anything is on your car it'll void warranty!

nah it wont, i mean if u put a Cold air intake in, and 2 weeks later, ur hydrolocked and u cant move your car, and u take it to the dealer, then thats ur fault. if ya put lowering springs in, and screw up ur shocks and struts, then thats your fault, but they have to be able to prove that what u did fucked it up, if they cant, then your aight, but to be safe, ask the dealer, see what their opinion is.

Thanks guys for the feedback. i just wanted to make sure since i know everyone here has pretty much visited the dealer with mods for the trans repairs. plus i was thinking it should be ok since this acura dealer has an aftermarket shop right in there. is the H.A.R.D shop. Honda.Acura.Racing.Development. they carry AEM and all sorts of crap. so they better not void my warrenty cause they sell the same shit. thanks for the advice guys.
