Does anyone know?

Is the stock exhaust on our TL stainless steel or just regular old steel? I think I remember someone mentioning it was stainless on the thread regarding painting the Y-pipe.

goaub,
Do you have any pics of your TL??
I am thinking about getting 35% tint also, and I wanna see what it looks like on WDP. Thanks!

Oh, I don't know about the exhaust....sorry.

swhtech,

No pics yet. Don't have a digital camera, but I do have a scanner. I just haven't gotten around to taking the pictures.

I mentioned in another thread that the 35% looks darker than it did in my '93 Vigor which had the same. This was especially interesting since my Vigor had black interior and the TL has the parchment and everyone told me that the dark interior will make the tint appear darker. I seemed to notice the reverse.

Someone responded that the heat rejecting tint that is on our cars makes the after market tint look darker. I like the look, it darkens it enough so that someone has to come right up to the car to see what's inside, but not dark enough affect night time driving.

Local law enforcement hasn't harassed me yet, but it's only been a month.

Thanks.

Surprised they don't market that more, since stainless lasts much longer. I couldn't find it in the brochures and the manual doesn't mention it.
