I was trying to get some feedback from people who already have a Comptech Icebox, Header / Downpipe and Cat-Back Exhaust. I just got a new Icebox and Header from Comptech and I cannot install it untill the snow melts. Its killing me. I was wondering what improvement (if any) you experienced. The people at Comptech said that the Header really wakes up the engine and that when installed with their CAI and Cat-Back Exhaust can add between 20-25 HP to your car. That number seemed high to me. I would image the exhaust tone should change but Im more curious about the performance. Please let me know what you have seen in real life. I rather hear from people then read a Dyno sheet.

currently i have the comptech icebox. and xs headers basicly a direct copy of comptech and stock exhaust and the headers definatly do wake the engine up especially in the vtech range. I'm adding the comptech catback exhaust this weekend, mostly the exhaust is for sound the gains are negligable like 2-5 horses.

i myself also do have the comptech icebox and the xs headers. these parts really helps out the mid range and top end a lot.

Comptech is right you should get about 20-25 hp with all those mods, if you get a crank pulley there will be even more of a difference. The headers do wake up the engine, but not just comptech any headers, intake will do the same
