Does the 2003 TL have Tranny Issues??
#2
a ck of the gen2 tranny failure thread or any of its related threads will show that 03 has the same issues as all gen2 in the trans-
you can ck visually if trans has been warranty replaced- acura rebulits have blue painted bolt heads
or call acura 1-800-382-2238x5- tell them you want a pre buy history ck and give the cars VIN
they can tell if the recalls are all done- if the trans was replaced or if it only got the oil jet kit installed
some 03 get a recall timing belt!!
not all 03 are covered on the special trans warranty extension-7yr9month /109kmiles you have to ask the 800 number for that info

its against azine policy and the law to share carfax id's, sorry
If the car pass the phone call inspection to acura, take it to a private shop- they can tell as much as carfax can and much more
carfax only knows whats been reported to it---

well on my way guys, let me know what else i should look at, im going to have an acura dealership look it over. so hopefully it all works out. its only had the oil kit installed and the timing belt tensioner done, as recall things.

too bad they didnt do the wp at the same time with recall-
what are your driving needs and operating budget- the TL needs premium gas
Honda seems to have better transmissions and good reliability, without overthinking the building
an 03 with only the oil kit?,,,how many miles? covered VIN on the trans?
anywhere between 50kmiles and 100 is average trans failure time- some go a little less some a little more
