Do ACURA pays $ out for the transmission failure?

My transmission was gone 1 week ago and I don't have a car now and I don't have license. I got caught by police for not yield, at that time I was ahead for Acura Dealer for transmission. and I found out that my license was suspended. And police took my driving license. If my car was safe, I wouldn't have to go to the dealer. I need money from Acura to hire the attorney for suspend driving. I may not drive for 1 1/2 yrs, and I may have resitricted driving time. Does anyone recieved any compensations for failing transmission?
Now, I'm not in good mood with Acura.

ummm... wow... I can't believe I'm reading this... and responding too.... must be slow at work...

I'm not sure how Acura has anything to do with you being pulled over and having your license suspended. If you followed the traffic laws you would be fine... regardless of where you were going.

Anyway.. as for compensation... read the sticky at the top of the forum.. Acura is offering free 7yr/100k mile tranny warranties to those affected. The only way you'll get reimbursment is if you had to pay for a rental, etc. out of pocket. They're not going to cover you getting pulled over and having your license suspended.

Wow! I need to be more carefull around here. I didn't realize that they'd suspend my license for a single minor moving violation!

You think? Hello buddy, get back to reality. Their only responsibility is to repair the tranny and provide a rental car.

Get real! Why was your license suspended, and what does Acura have to do with that? Let me answer- NOTHING.

So, why was your license suspended? And, who's to say you wouldn't have yielded, anyway?

Thank you for identifying yourself as a card-carrying member of the "entitlement/handout" crowd.
