Do the 03' TL-S have tranny problems also???

Do you guys know where on the car it will tell you when the car was made? Or when the car first breathed life?? I just wanna know if my car was built in the year that the tranny problems occur. I bought a TL-S 2 weeks ago and I heard some 2003's have tranny problems.

Not sure anymore
I have to get a new car next month and I've narrowed it down to the TL-S or the Accord EXV6. But after hearing all this, I'm leaning towards the Accord. It seems like the transmission issue hasn't been completely solved. The Accord may have the same transmission as the TL, but so far I've never heard anything about it giving problems.

Ruski:
I agree you with you. Mine does it in D4 and D5. It also has "Hiccuped" long enough that I did think it was about to stall on me. I didn't know anything about these cars having any problems with the tranny until I had had it in the shop twice, that is when I started searching on the internet for some answers. It is probably not as bad on some cars, worse on others. It is very annoying to me and as much as I like my car I wish I would have known about this first. I had a Ford Explorer before this with 100,000 miles and I never had it in the shop. Now, I have 3,000 on my TLS and I have had it in the shop twice. Very frustrating!!

I have a '03 TL-S and when I log onto the Acura OwnerLink website it says that I do not qualify for the tranny warranty extension. I'm hoping that means that I won't have transmission problems (knocks on wood), but if I do, I think I might be able to argue the point since some '03s were included in the recall.
