Just wanted to share that I just installed my PIAA Xtreme White Plus for the high beams and was totally disappointed at the output of the bulbs... they are suppose to be 4000K and are suppose to be white, somehow they look a little yellowish (almost stock), defying the whole puporse of changing the stock in the first place!

I feel you. I also purchased them several months ago for $75 and they don't match the stock HIDs. They don't even look 4000K.

You're kidding? Halogen bulbs will never look like HID. kev. temp rating doesn't really hold squat either. I also had PIAA Xtreme, Eaglite looks the same and it's 60 dollars cheaper. You guys should have gone with that before PIAA. Only bulb that might look a little whiter are the Razo, but they are expensive too and burn out fast. If you wanted something to match HID, it would be a HID kit.

I was not looking for something to "match" our original HID, I was just looking for something white or blueish, not yellowish... but oh well. I must say that the visibility when driving is improved a hell lot with the PIAA Xtreme White Plus. Well, they are suppose to be 4000K so they are suppose to be white, even on their website (www.piaa.com) they have a scale where 4000K is white, not on the yellow area... feel ripped off for sure.

Going back to the PIAA marketing hype. These bulbs are extremely overrated. Waste of money and purely cosmetic IMO. No offense to those who are PIAA sensitive. Just keep buying these bulbs and have the users rate them like these.
