Did a few things to the TL today...

First, I completed the Foglight Mod 2.0. Turned out very nice and looks sweet. Now, I need to buy the LED bulbs I want.

I fixed my power outlet below the radio. It was loose and would come out whenever you pulled something out of the socket. Easy fix once I got the interior panels off.

Also, I cleaned my A/C filters. After I figured out how to get to them, it was easy. There was all kinds of junk in there. When I opened the cover, leaves fell out and covered the carpet. There were also a couple of bird feathers in there? They were nasty, and I cleaned them out and put them back in. Once the pollen season is over, I will replace them with new filters.

I'm buying a OEM spoiler this week. Getting it painted, along with the mud guards so they will be body color. I'm debating on whether to paint the black piece on the grille WDP, or repaint it a glossy black. Suggestions?

Then, I'm going to retrofit a pop-up sunroof visor into my TL from an older Accord. And I'm also researching about the LED gauge cluster.

Quick notes, mods to come...

-LED Fogs
-LED Gauges
-OEM Spoiler
-Body Color Mud-Guards
-Repaint Grille
-Pop-up Sunroof Visor
-LED Interior Lights
-OEM Lip-kit

I hate AZine. I'm always broke for some reason.

I like the LED fogs better. I don't have to worry about ballasts and all that mess. Plus, its just put it and I'm done!

The filter was so bad that it had lint and other things built up in between the slots. I cleaned them out, and I'll get new ones in early Summer.

Oh, I have another question. In the DIY A/C Filter Removal, it said to cut the cover or something like that. Well, I noticed that the cover was already cut when I got to it. This was the first time I had ever touched the cover.

Do the dealers use this method? Or did my car belong to a fellow AZiner before me?!

FWIW-I went the HID route rather than LED, It only took me 30 minutes to install ballasts and everything..got the kit for the same price as the LED bulbs...plug and play.
HID FTW

Pull the wood trim that is on the passenger side of the center console off. Open the center console lid, and start from there. Pull it from the end first and work your way down. The trim may be hard to pry off but once it starts coming its easy. Unscrew the panel that goes on the side of the console and remove it. Then you can get to the power outlet and tighten it. Not hard at all, but the panel that goes on the side of the console is hard to get back in if you do not take off the glove box face. Then reverse the steps and put everything back in. Simple and easy.

if you can do the a/c filter change easily... hid fogs is not difficult... just take off a few push tabs on the bottom lining and wrench off the fog light lens and reach in blah blah your done. i like led's but if i can use hid's wherever i can, i'd do it. waiting for the reverse hid diy...

Ordered my spoiler last night. Bought it off eBay from the guy that was selling OEM spoilers for cheap.

Got a genuine Acura spoiler for $110. Came with mounting hardware and new struts for the trunk and everything. Its painted in EBP. So, I'll have to get it painted WDP.

Should be here around Sunday.
