yes, right above the TL-S

225 hp......when did that happen? Hmm I guess developing the MD-X powerplant had some nice side effects...I'm not sure if this makes the RL more appealing, because now dealers can charge closer to list price for RL's.....of course any of the 210-hp RL's will be going for a heavy discount....hrmmm...need to drive down to the 'ol Acura dealer and see what their inventory is looking like...

Yea, you're right about the all-new thing....but i thought it was getting the v-8 by 2003 or 2004....this might just be a stop-gap measure...

I bet the V8 engine will come for the 2003 or 2004 RL. I think they upped the horsepower for the RL now because it would be embarrassing for it to have so little horsepower (210) compared to the TL (225) or TL-S (260). However, I think it should have come in 1999 when the TL was first introduced.

RL is the same BS it was before.

I would never buy an RL unless they do some Dramatic exterior changes.

Although i love the options it has.

When they said "ALL-NEW RL", I assumed it would have the V8 and RWD that the rumor mills were predicting for the past several months....when I saw the slight increase in power (225 when the TL-s has 260 and MDX has 240) from the same V6 and the slight facelift, I admit I was irritated to say the least for calling this car "All-new".....if the earlier version is available at a huge discount, I would suggest to people to snap it up...since it is essentially the same car...if Acura persists in calling slightly face-lifted versions "All-new", then when the "real stuff" comes along, people may not pay much attention....just my 2c
