Desperate for an exhaust

Long story short: The exhaust system on my '02 is falling apart. I have to drive back to Chicago this Sunday. The Honda dealership can't get parts until Monday or Tuesday. Meineky wants $2000 to install some piece of shit Walker brand system that's obviously not going to be as nice looking as stock.

Do I have any other options? If I can get a good quality, quiet exhaust in CT by Saturday for under a thousand dollars, my friends will help me install it.

Try a acura dealer? I know mine usually overnights stuff. Being so late in the day you may be SOL though.

Do you need a full cat-back system? Or just the mufflers? Because I have my two OEM mufflers from my 2003 TL-P for sale, and I am located in CT. Let me know if you are interested.

I LOL'D!! The last thing I want is a pair of loud, gaudy pineapple launchers with "cool blue shit" that's supposed to represent heat discoloration from having so much horsepower, yet somehow only affecting the very tip (and coldest) part of the exhaust.

I need the entire system from the catalyst back. The pipe is rotting where it meets the center muffler. I need the rear mufflers too since the hangers one by one saw fit to separate themselves from where they were affixed to the canister. Some seedy mexican tacked on something for now but it slips out of the rubber hanger.

How much for just the drivers rear muffler? Where in CT are you located? I am in 06482.

Yeah, I'd browse around and look for a used system, or just wait until the dealer can get you the parts. Aftermarket is just for sound and no real performance gain on the TL. Ebay, the BM, junkyards maybe.

let's revise your response. You're third response was far worse then your second. Go to junk yard and stop being a troll.

I don't know what town 06482 is, but I'm located in North Haven, 06473. I'd really like to sell them as a pair. E-mail me if you are interested at [amgala]@[gmail].[com] (but obviously remove the [ and ] )

wow i knew that, why was i thinking of a sentra.. disregard the 4cyl comment, most v6's sound very nice with an exhaust so long as the pre-cat's are retained.

to be honest, I don't own a TL at all. My friend who is home for the holidays has the TL and the exhaust fell apart on him on the way here. I signed up to see what info I could gather because unfortunately he waited until yesterday evening to really do anything about it, and now apparently he's being taken for a wild ride by the George Foreman muffler company as they quoted him $2000. Because of his past history with being fucked by owning a Ford Probe, he's afraid of any other option and after failing to convince him to at least TRY, I taking it upon myself to gather relating info. I called the closest known dealership and they quoted $900 incl labor for a new Honda exhaust system. He's all about that, but they couldnt get parts in time and others are relying on him for the trip back to Chicago. $2000 is worth less than having to stay here beyond Saturday night.

I own a 280hp '92 240sx and a stock '97-SE as well.

Sorry I'm not used to looking for old used stock shit for a car without a resounding aftermarket, I ought to consider junk yards in the future.

Also, get off of my internet.

tell your friend to let george forman 4 finger him up the bum for driving a TL and doing jack about maintaining it, and also remind him that ford also makes the focus, which he might like better.
on a brighter note, anything aftermarket or not you buy will run you less than 2 g's
