dents and PDR

Just went through a moderately severe hail storm with our 8 month old TLP, received 38+ dings. We are looking at the PDR (paintless dent removal) as suggested by our insurance company. We have not used this before but did watch a dent being removed by this method, we are wondering what is the long term result of this type of repair. Did call the dealership and got the typical "bring it in and we'll give you and estimate response", and little else. Question, has anyone had this type of work done on thier TL, does this effect the waranty, will this effect the finish in the future? Any comments will be appreciated.

the PDR's (if done by a good shop) will yeild great results. there wouldnt be any type of long term effects. i have done it before and it works great. and no it wont do any thing to the warranty. and if done by a place thats good there wont be any damage to the finish. have it checked out by a PDR and see what they say

Had PDR performed on my previous vehicle (00 Civic)--worked excellent and not very expensive. Best thing is not having to re-paint your car because once you start messing around with paintwork on a car like this, its all over and it won't ever be perfect.

Get used to dents. Honda/Acura use the thinest metal and dent very easily. In my opinion, Honda/Acura need to wake up and use heavier gauge steel!

how about aluminum frame and carbon fiber body all around.
Our TL will be much lighter and dent free.

If our TLs weigh under 3,000 pounds.....oh..man.....

Anyone know how PDR works? I'm wondering because I had this huge baseball size dent in my car which i ended popping out with a suction cup. However, since the dent was made along a crease in the car, 2 nicks have resulted so its still a little warped. Can the PDR technique fix this? I'll post pics soon.

thx
