Question Dent Repair

Anyone have any experience with dent repair services for door dings, creases, etc which no damage has been done to paint? Can they get things back to looking like new at a reasonable cost?

Depends on what's a reasonable cost? To some that might be $20 bucks, like me, for others who are more realistic and have some more $$$ that could be 200-300.

Welcome to the board!

Paintless dent repair is the way to go. But like anything else it's who you go to. Ask around for references and pick the best. I had one of my cars done and although I could tell where the damage was done it was hardly noticeable. I'm sure he could have done a better job if he took his time. He finished in only about 20 minutes; cost me $80! Beats going to a body shop and paying $300+!

Got a ding in my TL when it was only a couple of weeks old in a parking lot. Cost $20 for the dent repair & it's back to looking like new again. Definitely worth it!

I had a ding on the crease on my car's passenger side door and it came out great. I just had the guy that does the Acura dealer's cars do it. I think it cost around $80. Definitely the way to go next time it happens...

I had 3 or 4 dents and a 7 inch dent from something in the trunk pushing against the top. It ran me $330. I went through my Acura dealer in Greenwich, but I got a loaner car for the day. They shipped it out to Dentwizard.

The car came out PERFECT. I CANNOT tell where the dents were even looking really close and knowing where they were.

I highle recommend them. Also, this place had a policy that if they couldn't remove the dent or it didn't look right, they don't charge you.

dont get me started on people who can't open doors. i think i have been hit the worst. Anyways, I'm in houston, and there are a couple places around here. Already got an estimate from Dent Wizard, 150 dollars. And he said it might not be perfect because it happened along that line that runs horizontally on our cars' side. there is a place on Katy Freeway, i forgot their name, ubut i spoke with the guy at the Houston Auto show.I described it to him and he said 75 dollars. So i have to decide who to go to.

If you have gotten paintless dents fixed before, in Texas, please tell me where, how much for what to fix, and how satisifed you were. Thanks.

Hi TLcraze, Got it done in a place in Kearny, Speedy Dent Removers #201-998-1801, the guy's name is Manny. He did my car & my brother-in-law's car & they both came out great! Lots of new car dealers in the area use him too.
