A deer hit my car......

yeah that's rite.......A phuckin' deer hit my car. I was coming home from one of my friends house in Pomona, Rockland NY and a deer came out of the woods in front of my car and I was able to hit the brakes in time to avoid the collision. Unfortunately another deer came out and ran into the front right side of my car. The deer fell down and got back up and ran back into the woods. It phucked up the front right panel of my car along with the passenger door and mirror. My luck I know I can fix my car........I really hope the deer is okay.

BTW Does anyone know any "Dr. Dent" suction dent removal places in the area??

Damn....sorry, but that was funny. I was picturing it and I started laughing. At least nothing happened to you. I almost had a couple of run-ins w/deers, but I managed to avoid em. While coming from upstate yesterday there was an accident on the TSP w/a deer. It's crazy how much damage there was!!!!! I hope you didnt get that much damage. Those dents could be removed? Any pics?

Living upstate, I can definately relate. Road kills are common thing up here. One time this deer got slammed by an 18 wheeler right off of 84. Looks like someone blew it up with a grenage. Man, what a mess it was. I'm glad you're ok. I hope the deer made it through as well. How bad is the damage? Good luck in your repairs. Oh BTW...I do believe insurance will cover.

If you have comprehensive cover, it covers deer impacts here in Canada. Thats the bare minimum cover here.

That's funny as hell. Reminds me of this GEICO commercial where these two squirrels run right up in front of a car to make it swerve off the road and into a ditch. The squirrels were high-fiving each other.

Sorry to hear that! I'm sure the deer is OK. Your car's probably in worse shape than he (she?) is.

I am sorry to hear that you got hit by the deer. I think when you avoid the other deer, the male deer thought you try to take his wife away so he ran to your car to make a statement. By saying you don't want to think about taken my wife away. Just joking bro. wish you luck fixing the dent.

Sorry to hear about your run in...that sucks! I wouldn't worry about the dear, I'm sure it's fine...being solid muscle they can take a hit.
My friend hit one with his Tahoe on the way upstate to his hunting ground...hit it at approx 50 mph dead on (it jumped in front of him, it wasn't intentional ), anyway the dear flew about 10 feet b/c he hit it while it was in mid air...got up, regained it's bearing and trotted off like nothing happened.

You ain't seen nothing until you've seen a car hit a moose. I'm sure our Canadian bros can tell you about that. Where I live, deer are a big problem. That's why making a high-speed run up the interstate at night is so dangerous. Cops are the least of your worries. Punt a deer at 130 and it's goodnight Irene.

Ever seen a mature male moose? They're a sight in many Canadian national park. There was once an accident up on northern quebec between a VW bug and a male moose. Let's just say the moose got away, but the bug was a complete total. Those muthers are huge.

I was once off shore in a foreign country ridin front passenger seat in a 62 chevy nova. Built like a tank, even the dash was metal. From out of nowhere, this guy comes running in front of the car, rolls over the hood, hits the windshield and was thrown about 10 15 feet. His shoes just went flying. Well, turns out he was being chased by cops and was stoned out of his mind. Well, after the whole nightmare, there was one small dent on that Nova's hood and that was it. The guy survived but broke both legs, hips, arms. It was one sorry sight. They don't build cars like that nova anymore..

WELL you might find this interesting i have a friend that has been attacked by a deer on 2 occasions in 2 different cars. the last time the deer came across the road and it's antler hit the gas cap door only. minor damage but when we took it to the body shop for repair the owner claimed that a few years ago he had a customer that claimed that a deer came up to his SUV and jumped onto the open window in the back seat. he then procedded to freak out and panic in the car, jumped into the passenger front seat and exited the car through that window. thoes deer are about the most stipid creatures on the planet. the only thing they understand is eating and mating. anything else does not compute with them.

In my area, 15 miles west of Toronto, there is no such thing as deer or moose, just dogs, cats, raccoons, squirrels and skunks.

man these faces: are so cute:p

haha .. this reminds me of that Mountaindew comercial... Anyways, a deer hit your car is not a good thing... But, its still better than getting hit by another car. That would be even worst.
