what are the reasons/benefits when people debadge their type-s tl?

looks like you got rear ended and not repaired to original condition, automatically brings down resale value, just like you got rear ended!

Adds more torque(6 - 7). Increase the value of your car.

Also cars behaves better at high speeds as stiletto said.

You should do it, like it totally rocks.

I don't have my car debadged yet..but damn..I hate those fuckers in their cars that slow down on the right lane behind my ass just to read if it's a S or not. Never had a run in though...hehe so i take it as a good thing.

Man debadging is great. YOu get better performance, and better gas milage. It brings up your car's resale value by like 20%.

If You put a BMW emblem on it it'll handle just like an M3!!!!!!

It helps cornering. It's a proven fact that a debaged TL can go 2.4 G's on the skid pad.

hold up, we're talking about "debadged" here... like about takingg off the embelems on the rear trunk right???? how the hell does that increase torque/gas mileage/performance????????

DOn't beleive anything these people are saying. To debadge your TL it gives it a sleeper look and more stylish plus since the emblems are molded to give the trunk more downforce they weigh about 75 pounds each so if you take them off you get about a 10hp kick and a whole lot of touque it's a very unknown modification.
