I was talking with my dealer today about receiving the body kit from autocarparts.com and they couldn't believe the price!

They said that what I would getting it for (from autocarparts) is about $400 less than their cost! haha

It was a funny phone call, had to share it

 

LOL, nice. Maybe that will benefit Tim. Now the dealer can buy it from him and make $400 more then getting it from Acura!!

 

I doubt that their cost is $400 more than Tim. He probably meant his selling price. Sounds about right $1200 for the kit. D@mn that's expensive.

 

yea my dealer asked how much i paid.. and i told him how much Tims price was... the service manager thought i was lying..

 

That was his cost, not what they sell it at :wow: He said that even an employee would pay more than that.

 

Don't the dealer ones come pre-painted? That's how mine came with the car when I bought it. (sorry Tim, didn't know about this site yet)

 

Tim's are pre-painted too. They're the exact same thing you would get from the dealer at a cheaper price!!

 

My dealer said he'd charge me whatever price Tim had. But,
tax here is usually still higher than Tims price with shipping.

 

Tim needs to start selling the whole dang car! Too bad he couldn't slash the price from $32k to $21k (pretty much the same % savings as the body kit)....... If he did, Tim wouldn't be able to sleep he'd be so dang busy. :wow:
