Here's the story I took my new 03 TLS in for the water pump recall they checked the pump for the "9" lucky for me I had a "4"
anyway when I go the car home I noticed a very small dimple in the roof section between the 3 in section where then rain channel is. I bring the car back the next day to the dealership and the guys looks and says well hard to say if they did it but he'd repair it to make me happy a good will gesture he says.
I tell him flat that I just waxed the car the day before it went in for service and I could assure him there was no dent there as most of you know here that when you do your own detail work you become pretty intamate with the surface of your car and know where all the imperfections are. So the dentless repair guy homes to my house today and says he's not sure he can get to the dent and fix it and that he'd have to drill a hole :wow: if it was not accesable but he didn't go too much further because he wants the dealership to remove the headliner so he can see what he can do so what do I do? Let the guy drill a hole in my car to see if he can get to the dent? What do I do if he says at the end of the day he can't fix it then what? any advice would be greatly apprecated I'm probably a little too mad to be thinking at my best right now.

the Audi dealer curbed one of my newly refinished wheels on the lift. I noticed too long after it was in for service to even ask them to pay for it. Another $150 to fix that mess :>(

If its not that bad or noticeable leave it alone. I wouldn't want anyone drilling a whole anywhere on the car.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing I think maybe the best plan would be to have the dealer drop the headliner and if the dent guy says he still can't get to it he'd have to drill then your right I'd rather just live with it it's only noticable if you look at it on an angle but I'll always know it's there
