You are #40!!! Sorry about that....
Seems like it goes on and on and on..........
Keep us posted if they give you any reasons, or if you get any comps.
Seems like it is getting so commonplace that Acura is not so liberal with the comps anymore.
Raise Hell!!!

Update
My car is being worked on by Montgomeryville Acura dealers.
They're pretty good about the whole thing. It's friday now and I haven't recieve any news about my car. Oh well I think It's going to take longer than 1 week till I get my car back.

Well the first time I had my tranny go out it took them a little over 3 weeks to fix. They told me that the whole tranny had to be sent over to Ohio to study the tranny, fix it, and send it back.
The 2nd time my tranny took a dump it took a little over a week. The dealer told me that they ordered a new tranny for me and sent the original back to Ohio.
One more important fact that I noticed that on my original sticker, for my 2002 TLS, my tranny was made in JAPAN NOT THE USA.

Interestingly enough, there have not been many posts about 2001 trannys, or even 2002TL trannys.
It seems to be 2002/2003 TL-S specific.
At least, out of all those owners who reported in here.
Maybe the TL-S just has too much torque for the tranny.

How are the MDX tranny's doing .. anyone know? Doesn't that engine produce about 240hp, and about the same torque? If those are doing transmissions are holding up, then I would feel more inclined to believe that the engineering of the CL-S/TL-S tranny is not at fault ... just the manufacturing specifications...
I still haven't had time to take my car in... the tach is starting to sputter .. especially when I lay in the throttle lightly at green and then decide to tap into some more power in 2nd gear.. it just jumps to 4th or 5th 'cuz I feel this complete plateau... but I digress, I realize I'm preaching to the choir here...
