De-Lettering

I want to take off the A C U R A letters in the trunk, what is the best way to do it?? and also after they're off, would the color of the paint there be off since they have not yet been exposed to the sun??

:p

Just plug-in debadge.

I used Dental floss(mint)and a hair dryer. if there is a color difference you should be able to blend it with a light polishishing compound.

Iggy....

Just curious - does mint work the best?!?!?!

LOL - anyways, I just used a hair dryer, and pulled the 3.2TL part off my car, then used Goo Gone to remove some of the residue. Now all you see on my TL is

A - Representing the Acura Logo

A C U R A

Dental floss works well. (mint optional) I removed my badge after my car was sitting in the sun for a couple of hours.

For all you potential debadgers, the only badge with mounting pins is the round "A" logo on the trunk. All the others don't have any pins. You'll want to know this if you're considering removing the "A" logo.
