De-badged the ACURA this weekend and new side markers
Had some spare time this weekend so I decided to work on the TL.
Removed the ACURA letters from the back of the car
I also finally removed the ghetto Checker side markers that were on the car from the previous owner. I replaced them with some '03 Civic Si units.
The new ones are made by Stanley and are much nicer looking. I was kinda scared getting the dremel out and cutting the fenders, but those old side markers just had to go. My picture of the side markers didn't turn out too well, but here it is.
Also while I was doing that, the side markers used to wired up to be on whenever the parking lights are on and also blink with the blinker. I just wanted them to blink only, so that was an easy fix.
My picture of the side markers didn't turn out too well, but here it is.

Probably about 1.5 hours a side, something like that. The first one took a little longer than the second. I did one in the evening, and the other the next morning.
I got one of the new Li Cordless dremels for christmas last year. That thing really helped out I think. Using a regular dremel can really wear out your hand after using it for that long.
The new cordless unit had enough power to do the whole job without needing a charge, far better than the old cordless ones.
