dash board

my dash board is always dusty and ugly. How do i clean it and put some shine into it. i tried cleaning the dust with windex, but that just streaked, and my car then smelled funny.

Many ppl might say otherwise, but I use Armorall. It works fine on the dashboard. It still gets dusty though... just keep on wiping it. I wonder where all that dust is coming from. I always drive with my windows closed.

Two things:
(1) I use swiffer pads (cleaning isle) to first remove all the dust. There not cheap but work great! (ps- get the non-polishing version).
(2) I use Armour All multi-purpose cleaner to clean all the vinyl. Its the only thing I found that doesn't streak the vinyl or react with any of the plastic in the car. I just spray some on a sponge, wipe, and let dry.

I don't use any protectant because they're a pain in the ass to apply and can mess up your bezzels/moldings...
