I took my car in for ANOTHER TRANNY RECALL and got it back. now on my way to work this morning, the bass in my system kept cutting off and on and i was really concerned about what the hell is going on, I have no idea whats going on with this. What i am going to do is check everything myself and then if i cannot figure out the problem then i will take it to the audio place, and if they say something is wrong then im going to get a lawyer, (dont mean to sound like i'm overreacting) im not, its just that when something is wrong with your car like a tranny, if i had a turbo on my car they would say, "its becaue your turbo your tranny broke, we'll fix it but its gonna cost you" Forget that shit, I am going to make sure they d0nt play that little word game with me and i will make sure acura spends their luxury money on my car to fix it if something was messed up,

P.S. and if this is in no way shape or form acura's fault. SSHHHH i still hate their service but sorry for bein so harsh.

daym relax. first thing to check is if the power cable is conected to the battery all the way.

and 2nd what do you mean "another tranny recall"??? there is only 1 and that was for the oil jet kit

so have you checked the conection at teh battery?

 

yes, when i got my system installed i had some wire cut and the replaced it with 4 gauge wire and grounded it to the chassis, well that wire was loose just hanging there, got another one of those link things (dont know the name of it) and put the wire in and screwed it back in. its works fine now , but im keeping an eye out,
BTW sometimes im a pretty careless person.

 

it's only your third tranny, you still have a ways away if you plan on keeping the car. I have a 02 TLS and I just got my car back wednesday with my 5th tranny. I have almost every mod, except for a supercharger and no one has ever questioned changing the tranny. When it's going, it's going.

 

how many miles do you have? and do you drive it hard, lightly, do you beat it up?
