damn!! control arms, balljoints, and now i think whell bearings
shiyte i think my wheel bearing is going bad. I thought it was a tire, but then I got a new one, and the sound is still there. I've searched the forums a little bit, but not too much to help me out on this one. The sound is from the driver side, you cant really hear it from 5-20 mph, but anything above that makes this b*tch sing!! sounds like a whoop whoop. (didnt know how i'd spell that but eh) soooooooooo any suggestions or comment will be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone changed a wheel bearing on here and if so, how hard is it to do on these cars? thanks guys!

Sounds like a bearing. I dont remember off hand if its replaceable or if you need the entire knuckle?? I know a few have had teh problem and fixed it. Maybe do a search and see?

unless you have access to a wheel bearing removing/install tool or a hydrolic press, you won't be able to do it yourself.

we use this kind of tool at my acura dealership :

so you don't need to take off the knuckle to put it on the press, it's much easier and faster
you can jack your car and shake your wheel from top to bottom to see if there's some loose. (if there a loose, the wheel bearing is faulty, but it's not because there is no play that the bearing is necessarly good), check both (or all 4) because sometimes sound transmission can fool you on which one is bad.
