Damm S2000s are fast

I caught an S2000 comin out of a toll booth on the thruway, and it was on, his car def had mods, we were neck and neck most of the way than at about 115mph, I eased up and he kept on going, there were some turns comin up, and I didnt feel like I would have adeqaute control of the car at that speed, in any case, that S2000 was quick and handled phenomenoly, I was impressed. With mods, he was prob pushing 260hp.....

yea, he def would have if it was a straight race, but you know how it is, it gets to be more about balls when your working through traffic, like I said, I know there was no contest, but I stayed with him until 100+ so I was happy, side by side no less. All I could def make was that he had exhaust

I killed an S2000 a while ago, we were at about 220 kph (130+ mph), but he gave up and exited on the next ramp. I was about a car and a half ahead until he decided to quit. You can hear his engine, he was redlining too 'coz you can hear his governor. But I betcha with the stock suspension setup of the S2000 and the balance of the RWD, the Type-S would not stand a chance in corners...

Agreed, at those speeds, my stock suspension, didnt feel confident around subtle curves, but the S2000 sure looked it.
