first ticket in my 4 years of driving occured today at granville street for being in the carpool lane a second too long. i was already signalling to change lanes, but the cop still pulled me over
he was checking out my TL when he pulled me over to see if i've got nething illegal done to it since he saw i took off the front plate and had white flashers in the front, dat was funny

how could he have not given you a ticket for no front plate??? i'd put it back on if i were you. don't know if you'll be lucky a 2nd time.

how much is the carpool lane violation going to cost you? Around here I think it's something like $250

yup, your really lucky. I got pulled over about half a year ago on Hwy 1 eastbound by a female cop. Got a damn ticket for not signalling before changing lanes. Like WTF? There's no car within 50 feet of me anywhere! Well at least the only consolation was that she was cute!
