Fatty did you do your door "wood" trims in suede as well??

No. They are the Blackwood, part of the whole reason i swapped interiors. The center console pieces were already taken from the car so i had to do something with my wood pieces. (see the pic in my thread)

how did you get the trim to sit properly in that spot??? i just reinstalled mine and thought i had them set as best i could but after drying the fronts are stuck out further.....oops

Thanks for this DIY. I am working on the drivers side. I have removed the two screws and popped all the side retainers, but it is stuck at the top on something, very likely the door lock assembly. DIY says just pop it out but it won't pop without a lot of force, I am scared I might break it. Is there some trick to getting that assembly out? It has the handle, the window controls etc.

All I really need to do is replace the sideview mirror but the cable connects somewhere I can't get at without getting the top of the door loose.
