I just spoke to someone and this guy is supposed to make me a Roof Spoiler for my 2003 TLS. I will be the first one to be purchasing it. He wrote in his last email to me "The spoilers are made out of polycarbon, which is different from the typical fiberglass spoilers that are "stamped" out from a dye, these spoilers are hand crafted individually, as that is the only way they can be made. These spoilers do come with a lifetime warranty, as to never crack, swell from water or bubble from heat (it is heat and water resistant, and bends a great deal without even stressting)" You guys can look at the Roof Spoiler he made for his Lexus GS on Ebay... the item number is: 1873547984

IMO, it doesn't even look like a roof spoiler. It looks like a strip of plastic across the back window.

My friend has it on his 540i...it looks good..but I dunno if it's worth the $$$ for that lil thing..

There's at least one TL with this already. He used the BMW spoiler and had it customer fit. His email to you sounds like a typical sales pitch.

okay guys I spoke to him again and told him that it was way too expensive. And this is what he wrote... "Hello. We have a price guarantee of 110%, meaning that we will not only match, but beat anyone else's price on a roof spoiler by 110%, so if you can get me the documentation for the M3 spoiler (website, ect....) then I will gladly beat it. As for the group buy, I am sure I can manage to lower the price on that as well.....to tell ya the truth, the company we purchase the roof spoilers from, they on average sell us the spoilers at $160, and this is the spoiler for a Lexus GS, and we have been selling those for $200 shipped, which leaves us with about $20 in profit. So if I get this company to make TL spoilers, and tell them that I will order quite a few more, then i'm sure they will lower their price as well.....let me look into that more. But please do send me the info on the M3 spoiler, and I will give you the deal on it. Also, if you could, please introduce me to the acura forum, then that way I can stay in touch with the Honda/Acura scene....currently I'm really into the Toyota/Lexus stuff, but I'd love to see what's out there for acuras. thnx"

I emailed him three websites which sell the M3 Roof Spoilers starting at $100-$128... So I am waiting for his response.... Hopefully we can get it for around $100... I will keep you guys updated... And if there are any ideas that you guys have, please share... I mean since they are going to custom make it for us, can't we tell them how to make it or shape it...

i would like it to be a big ass wing spoiler with flames. as for that 3m taped colored plastic looking thing in the pics, your in a deep hole to get enough for a groupbuy. also has tim agreed to this GB thing?

This spoiler looks way better, its off an accord. Hard to find, i dont even know which company makes it.

if the company can make a piece that does NOT lay flat against the glass (ie, extension of the roof line backwards) and has sides, then that would be nice.

I emailed him again and told him that we all want a different type of roof spoiler and I told him to check out the picture you guys listed. I asked iif he can make this kind of design so once he emails me back I will update all the new info...

Damn... that roof spoiler does look mighty nice... who and where did that roof spoiler come from, I would love to have that kind of design... Please list any info you guys have on that spoiler...

That is my TL above and the roof spoiler was for an accord. The kid that sold it to me had it for a white accord, dont know which body, because when he sold it to me he had a bimmer.

I believe bigmans pic is a photoshop with the accord roof spoiler on it....at least i think that's what he said a while back....

I emailed the guy and he told me he was going to talk to the company to try and make a roof spoiler that looks like the one on this forum. I will keep you guys updated... As soon as he replies... hopefully soon and with a different model than the one he was selling on ebay...
