Cool Custom Mudguards for BodyKit

After installing the OEM body kit...i would always get my doors dirty from the tire dressing/shine after i washed my car because of the removal of the stock mudguards

Rear Right

Front left

Yesterday i stopped by my local K-mart to pick up some window washing fluid when i came across this. It really cheap $1.50

This thing is hard enough to be effective at high speeds and also flexiable enough to take hits from deeps and speed bumps...esp for ppl with lowered cars like myself.

What i did was used the stock mudguards as a pattern and drilled into the new ones... and install on the car.

Front Right

Front Left

Rear Right Back

Rear Right Front

Right Side

the plastic is thin...it's not that noticable from the side...it blends in with the black from the tire and tirewell.

The has a stock look to it...looks very nice...easy took me about 15 mins to do and cheap $1.50 +tax mod.

Some of you might not like the look of mudguards with a bodykit...but to keep my car clean and looking good..it's worth it.

What kind of tape is used to attach them. Do you think it will leave a sticky residue after you take them off.

Here are some more pictures. If you want to see more, tell me what side, angle, flash on/off, and how close/far away you want me to take the picture at.

I myself wouldn't consider painting them. Other people have painted their stock ones...i guess they have a flux agent in it ...like the bumpers so the paint won't crack when you bend it. For $1.50 mod...i'll rather just spray paint it and when it get's F*ucked up...go get another pair.

Is there spray paint that would match ABP perfectly. Then I would spray paint it and not actually get a body shop to paint it. Its not worth it like ACURATLFAN said.
