Custom Mudguards with Body Kit?
Anyone with the factory underbody kit ever put mudguards on their TL? I know the factory ones don't fit so you basically would have to buy generic ones and possibly cut them to fit. I have 18x7.5" wheels (45 offset so they really aren't sticking out much more than .5" more than the stock tires.) with 225 tires and the amount of mud spray on the lower part of the fender and door is pretty bad, going to really be hard on the finish everytime I wash it off. I'm just worried the mudguards are going to look stupid with the body kit. Guess it's a trade off between looks and protection.

a mud guard is reallie useful...i got the OEM rear mud guard...for about 100 bucks at dealership but i got it for free(actually it's included to ur final sticker price...but ask them one if u r gonna get a TL and they will give u...)
having the mud guard helps a lot when doing car wash....less dirt and snow stick at the rear bumper
i thought it was gonna look ugly if they are on at the beginning...but u don't notice their existence at all

well my car is NBP so they are not noticeable at all.
i think it would look funny to have the mud guards and the kits together, and i really doubt if i will still try to put the guards on after installing the kits. but then again it's very useful, at least it helps to reduce a lot of dust for me now.
