Cusco Front OS/Type1 Strut Brace
Just ordered my Cusco Front OS/Type1 Strut Brace from Mr. HeelToe. Super guy, very pleasant experience.
I should be getting them shortly and I am looking forward to installing them. The install seems fairly straight forward from what I have gathered, but I was wondering if there are any gotchas that I should look out for? Also, do I need a torque wrench (how tight should the bolts be tightened)?

When using a torque wrench- you can check bolts torque before you undo them by turning the level up and trying to loosen bolt- when its right- you will get movement instead of a click
Or the manual method: put a wrench or socket on the bolt- give it a tug and feel
Now loosen it- see how tight it felt?
The bars bolt right up no special things to look for
the bolts under the car are about 80 lbs- I used a long metal pipe over the ratchet for leverage on those 2, do the best you can to center it- the bolt holes have some room to fit many cars
Requires allen wrench to tighten the lower bars end mount

I mis typed
To CLARIFY:
To check tight setting before removal using torque wrench
First set it low to like 25 and attempt to TIGHTEN the bolt
it should click as soon as you pull on it, next turn it up 5 lbs at a time
until it takes a definite push to make it click- thats the torque setting/value
Now take it off all apart- re-assemble and torque
Please let us know the numbers are - if you do it high tech
Otherwise- tight is always good! If a bolt squeaks- its a little too tight- you may have heard this noise putting a tire on with the cars lug wrench - you step on it and squeeeeeak- oops thats about 90 and I wanted 80 FOOT pounds
