Will the new cup holder (from the CL) fit the 2002 TL's? I have the old style in my TL. The difference is that the new ones can hold larger cups and will hold the cups more securly, so they won't spill. Have called 3 dealers and they have been no help at all.

 

Just use the 01+ TL cup holder. I have those on my 00 and they work great

 

ya but he says he has an 02 TL....


BTW whats the difference between 99 and 01 holders----how do u install---any pics of the diff?

That what I said at the CL meet last weekend. The guy's there thought that was strange, but it is comfirmed that it is the old style

 

One of the SoCal guys probably tried to buy one from the dealership you got your TL at.. since they didn't have any in stock, so they jacked it from your car..


Next time you go to the dealer, ask to look at the other 2002 and compare it against yours.. I would doubt it if the others are like yours..

Then demand the dealer to get you the right one..
