You must have the Comptech Exhaust for CL not the TL then, coz the the one that comptech makes fot the TL is about an inch out, and if you put the CL one on it , it will sit about two inchs behind the edge of the bumper.

Yeah even with the OEM bodykit installed my tips stick out a little bit on the Comptech Axlebacks. Like Jack_n_Coke says you probably have the CL exhaust. The CL is slightly shorter than the TL, so the exhaust is shorter. You can try trading with someone that may have the TL exhaust on his or her CL or you can maybe get a muffler shop to weld on an extra pipe on the exhaust so it will be a little bit longer.
Don't want to make it too long though or it will look pretty stupid.

I didnt know that you could buy comptech stuff from Acura dealers. Well if you , somehow, bought them from the dealer go and get them returned and or exchanged to the ones for the TL.

mine is for the TL and the previous owner did extended 2 inches, before the rear lip is on it does sticks out a little bit but now it looks perfect~

he cut and welded the axle back, near the bolts area, but it still fits perfectly with the hangers
what is the part number of the exhaust? and how much that cost u if u don't mind i ask~
