Crankshaft Pulley Timing Marks

Question Crankshaft Pulley Timing Marks

Hello,

I have a 1999 Acura TL and i would like to know if anyone know what marks on the crankshaft pulley do i use to line up "tdc"? When i look at the crankshaft pulley i see a single yellow/white mark and three other mark's? Thank's

You don't use the Crankshaft to find the TDC for each Cylinder.
In the Camshaft Plastic Cover there is a small rubber gate you put aside to see the alignment Arrow for the Camshaft and the Plastic Cover, Each Arrow has a specific number which designates the TDC for that Cylinder.

Well sort of. You need to use the Crank to line up properly with #1 cyl otherwise you could be 180 deg off. The crank needs to line up with the mark on the cover (or block if cover is off) and the #1 mark on the front cam needs to line up.

There should only be 1 single mark/groove on the crank pulley, it should be a single grove cut into the pulley. That is what needs to line up with the crank mark on the cover
