couple of questions to improve a 99 tl
so i was the reading the thread about all the difference and i wanted to know if its possible to do the led in coin tray in a 99
since the 02-03 has an LED light to light up the coin tray under the radio, while 99-01 has no lighting.
and also the cupholders how do i make it better for $15? lol i qoute from the other thread

and also the automatic side view mirrors that move when in reverse is there a way of doing that? maybe get the 02-03 side mirrors?

Just stop by your local Acura dealer's parts department and buy the cup holder insert used in the 02-03 TL. Or buy one online. I bought one for my 1999 TL and it is a huge improvement over the original one.
, and like 9932 said tail lights are the first thing looks so much better.

to make a 99 better: do the EGR port cleaning
Should have gotten the recall some years ago (assume canada got it too) but that single port on the 99 plugs easily- Even the 00 on has 6 ports and can need cleaning every 75k miles
remove intake manifold, clean egr port and intake runners
See DIY- 2 hours home labor, 3 cans carb cleaner or use of solvent tank

isnt that a given- especially on a used car with high miles and uncertain history

seafoam aerosol-deep creep, does work really well when sprayed into the ports
It works good to lube door hinges too!
