Could anyone give me any tips on installing an Upper Strut Bar

i got my upper strut bar (chrome :wow: ) and i havent installed it yet cause the thing is too damn hard to put in. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone out there has some advice on how I can get this thing over both strut towers without taking it to a shop and getting charged for something I should be able to do. The tie bar is about .5 inches too long. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jack the car up slightly on one side to get the bolts to match up.

I installed the Neuspeed (only mod I have)

Will this work?? The strut bar is too long, I would think that jacking the car up on one side would make this problem even worse. I could see doing this if it were too short.??

When I got mine, it was a bit short. So I had to jack up the driver's side and finally it fit in. Did you get the Accord V6 strutbar??

actually if you want to get the most flex you should jack up the car from the front (middle). my car was like 1/4" long, so i had to do that to flex the car enough to put the bar in

i don't even know how i am going to take the bar out anymore @_@

Whatever dude. Im not about to pay someone for something I can do. Doesnt sound like you have a clue. I did most of the mods to my car myself...There are a lot of things under the center of the engine that could get fvcked up if you dont place the jack correctly so whats the harm in asking? If you dont know then you need to go kick rocks

Actually it helped a bit. I remember jacking the left side... the right side is still firm on the ground. Jacking up the left side up high brought the left father away from the right. The car flexes a good deal without the brace.

I got one hole started on each side... used a soft mallet to help it along..... turn the bolts to tighten down... adjust the jack up and down to help some more.

Just takes some fiddling. At one point it DID seem like it would never fit.

ok, lie down in front of the car, right from the middle (the grill area). use your hand to feel and gradually move from outside to inside. initially you will feel some plaster, pretty loose. that's the flap for avoiding dust and stuff. after that, you will come to a hard metal. that's where you jack the car up
