ConDAMNsation!!!

So we got hit with a good storm in Northern Cali and sure enough I got some water in my headlights. I went to start my lights and there was nothing, .

I already ordered the 5k kit from HIDextra but my question is, did my bulb go out or is my whole set up fried? Ill be busy this weekend starting all over with my lights this re-sealing and all that. Any comment is welcomed.

Did you recently clear/black them out? And if you already ordered the HID kit you shuld be fine, but I dont think its neccessary.

Its your ballast, there is a hole on top of the ballast that the condensation in the headlight can drain into. Happened to me

If water leaks, your ballasts got the sip first, then the bulbs, then ignitors, in that order.

I remember reading that people bought some Nissan butane sealant. I didn't get chance to search but I would start there. Good luck.

The ignitor is a part of powering the HID bulbs. its connected from the ballast to the bulb. But yes, your ballast did probably die. I had that happen to me and I had to buy new set of headlights. 600$ of total loss. Ballast 300 and 2 headlights another 300..

I tested everything, it was only the bulbs that went out man. I bought some new bulbs and they worked fine.
