Comptech Springs

Hey guys, I'm thinking about going for comptech springs instead of h&r oe springs. I was wondering, is camber kit necessarily if i go with comptech springs? I'm not very knowledgeable in these matters. Thanks.

Most likely you won't need cambers with Comptech springs. Teh drop is barely anything.

really? isn't it like a 1.75" drop? I'm not looking for anything too big b/c my driveway is somewhat steep and speed bumps are all over my street. Just something suttle, and will decrease the wheel gap.

I have the Comptechs on my TL-S. They drop the front about 1.50 and the rear about 1.25. I would not want to drop any further as the front is very close to the ground.

Also I would not want to go any stiffer than the Comptech unless you want to feel every little bump in the road. The Comptech springs are the closest to stock but you can tell they are stiffer as you do feel more bumps.

I had my car aligned when I put the springs on and then again last week after about 5 weeks. Everything was within factory spec and no chamber kit was required. The H&R probably would require a camber kit as they lower the rear a little more.
