Comptech Icebox Filter change

Hey guys,

Question, what is the interval to change the icebox filter? I heard there is a K&N replacement filter for the Icebox? and it's a little better. Anyone have the part # and price?

You don't replace, you clean and treat, just like a K and N. FYI, should do thie with every oil change.

hmmm, ok, I thought you replace it every so often. What do you clean/treat it with?

You oughtta be able to use a filter cleaning kit from Comptech or the K&N filter cleaning kit. The latter you can find at most auto parts stores. It also comes with directions...

correct you just clean it. you can use the k&n filter cleaning kit or what ever comptech recomends.

or you cn buy a k&n filter for it too. k&n filter for the ice box ru-2590
