I was at Marin Acura (north of San Francisco) getting some service done to my car. Wandered into the showroom to check out what they had and talked to the woman who I had dealt with there. After she let me drive the RSX, because she was totally bored, we started talking about the '02 typeS that's been sitting on their showroom floor since April. I told her that I couldn't believe that it was still sitting there. She said that the she could probably make a good deal on it, so I thought I'd pass it along if someone wants a typeS that has the goods...

The dealer sticker listed "Comptech package". I'm not sure exactly what that included, but it had springs and exhaust. It could have the sways as well, but she wasn't sure. Also: full body kit, spoiler, wood steering wheel, wood gauge cluster. Black on black. Pretty nice turn-key ride.

Moroney sticker (factory price before mods) was $31,170...or thereabouts (before extras). The dealer had marked the mods waaaaaay up which is probably why it hadn't sold (their sticker was about $38,000). Anyway, I think someone could walk out with a screaming deal right now. MAYBE in the $32-33k range, BUT YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT FROM ME!!! If interested call Jan at Marin Acura 415.924.5100.
