Loving my 08 TLS!
Try to do a search if you want to know more about intakes.
But most ppl here have either AEM or Injen CAI. You can buy it on this site and it is worth getting the bypass valve with it.

There is AEM or INJEN
I got the INJEN about 2 weeks ago...i decided to go with the INJEN RD one piece. Reason was that it was a bit cheaper than the AEM, and it came in chrome w/o extra charge. AEM makes a lot of stuff...and INJEN only makes intakes, INJEN knows how to make intakes.
INJEN is a bit cheaper. But hey are around $210-250
Some ppl get the "bypass valve" this is optional, but it can only be used with a 2 piece intake. the bypass valve will "prevent" hydrolocking...water being sucked up by the intake and entering your engine..it's about $40-50. Personally, i didn't get one, i Live in So. Cali...and something during the rainny season there are street floods...but i don't really think it's gonna happen. But some ppl are cautious

That is not true actually.... The 2-piece intake does not fit the 2002+ TL-S... only the one piece does. To install the by-pass valve you will need to cut the intake.... same with the AEM. I was actually very nervous about this, but using the directions as well as some pics from on here, it was actually pretty easy.
Anyway, I personally recommend the by-pass. For $40 you're protecting your $6k+ engine, and trust me... if you screw up your engine with an intake on... you will not get warranty work to fix it..... better safe then sorry.
