Cold Air intake for 1999 3.2 TL

What's up w/ the 1999 3.2 TL Type As I found out today When my mechanic tried to install a high performace cold air intake he called and said that there are these hoses that lead into the air intak and into a small radiator below the air intake. He said that he has not seen this before. HELP!!

I addition, If you were going to start with ONE....Which of the following three options is the best in terms of the MOSt performace inhancement??

1. "chipping it out"

2. Cold Ait intake

3. High performance exhaust

I hope these are not questions

chipping it out?? wat u mean?

best gains are from headers about 15-20 WHP
Cold air intake is about 3-5WHP
exhaust isnt much like 2-3WHP

best bang for the buck is the headers!

1. If you are referring to something like a Hyperchip, no one makes one.
2. Of the 3 options you listed, this is the best one.
3. Adds mostly sound.

The best bang for the buck is a UR crank pulley. Unlike headers, it adds hp across the rpm band, not just above 5,000 rpm.
