Clunking Noise on the front of my suspension..
Okay, I have Apexi' WS Coilovers and I had these suspension on my previous car with absolutely no problems. After installing my coilovers, on the front right side it makes a 'clunk' on small bumps or when the wheel is turned and I'm going over bumps you can hear it louder.
It almost sounds like the hats are loose, I've checked everything but cant seem to find what the hell is wrong with it. I did install the camber kit at the same time and went and got an alignment. I did notice that the spring insulator (rubber piece under the hat) was loose, but I don't think that matters since it compresses. I thought maybe I was missing a washer in the coilover but I took it apart and it still makes the noise.
Any help would be appreciated, I did a search and it seems like
Axle
Tighten sub-frame bolts
Upper-control arm is loose
Ball Joint (can't be because I just installed the camber kit)
Blown shock (doubt it because it wasn't making noises on the last car)

Sounds like either the top plate or a ball joint is worn out. Mine makes that type of noise over bumps, but i know mine top plates are worn out (should be after near 200k)

yes. the part at the top with a rubber part at the top of the strut that it sits in (part 4)?

when i had the suspension apart the rubber was worn. I also saw excessive movement in the strut there when pushing up and down
