Clifford cheaper than Viper?

I'm looking for an alarm, and I was looking on ebay, and the Clifford RSX 3.5 is going for $210 buy it now, while the Viper 791xv is going for $250. From what I've read, they're the same alarm with different looking remotes, but everything I've read said the clifford is generally more expensive. So, should I just go for the clifford? Seems like the Viper is more popular. Do they use the same standard add on modules? Thanks.

$210?!?!? WHERE?!?! I saw it for $400+ and the Viper for that price or a little lower like $210. They all use the same standard addon modules.

Sorry for the late reply...just search for clifford 3.5 and it'll show up..but there's only like 10 minutes left on the auctions....plus, no feedback on the sellers. 2 people selling with the exact same listing. Here's the response I got from them..

"Items were just listed as of yesterday. The other name you see that person works for my company. Items are for real. Good Luck Bidding.

Thanks for your interest,

Jason"

and then...

Thank you for your email. jjwlp33 is my son and as such he has been active in ebay, so that is why his feedback. I have not, so I don't have one. I am trying to help him because it's alot of work and in order to treat every customer properly and make this a good business I opted to help with the load.

This is the reason for the feedback on my part. If you feel more comfortable bidding on his auction, please feel free.
The product is a good product, brand new and ready to be shipped.

Good Luck and Good Bidding

So....it's up to you if you want to go for it. I'm going to go ahead and get it. Worst case I get paypal to get my money back...
