cleared headlights and ma HID jus went out, HELP
man i cleared ma headlights over a month ago and everything was fine, untill last week. both lights startin foggin up, went awayt he next day. i go out this mornin and its foggin up again adn guess wut, one of the lights dont work. wut can i do now?? i kno the dealer prolly wont fix it under warranty, but should i at least give it a try??? do i need a new bulb or could it be the harness or wiring??? i dun think i can afford new casings(2) and new HIDS (2), das like almost $500!!!! any help plz..

Dealers will tell you to go to hell if they see your clear headlights. You might as well redo them and put the orange piece back, then take it to the dealer. That's why I left my headlights alone.

yea i was thinkin that, but wont they be able to tell i opened them up cuz the seal wont be as tite as the original and u can see the sealant on the edges. u think they would fall for it?

U probably did a crappy job at sealing. If you be generous and put a nice even string (not BEAD) of silicon at the edge...seal it, let it dry and apply another layer of thin silicon OUTSIDE of the gap, there is NO WAY water vapor can get in. Takes a little longer to do it right but save a lot of hassle like RIGHT NOW.
