Cleaning AEM CAI

How do you get to the cone filter of the CAI? Also can I just clean it with soap and water?

There are numerous ways to get to the filter.

You can jack it up and see if you can get it out thru the flap on the bottom front driver side of the car.

You can take off the front driver side wheel and remove the fender lining to get at it (hardest way)

You can remove the bumper (easiest way if you know how)

You use the AEM filter cleaning kit, DO NOT USE SOAP and WATER
If you want it couple of dollars cheaper, use the K&N filter cleaning kit.
