Cleaners of leather seats! :303 or lexol: ??

Hey guys,

Just wondering if I should use lexol or 303 on my seats to clean and condition them. I plan on spending this Sunday cleaning my baby's seats. I've checked the board and alot of people reccomend lexol and a few mentioned 303 however, 303 seems to be a wipe down process and lexol is a two-step deal. It seems like washing and then conditioning would be better so I'm leaning more towards Lexol however the people that posted about 303 said that it was way better? Any opinions/advice?

Thanks

I've had good luck with Lexol products

I've used all three of the Lexol products - vinyl/leather cleaner/leather conditioner for a couple of years now. I can recommend all of them.

Summit Industries (who also makes Creomulsion cough syrup) is one of my customers and the people there are really good folks. My primary contact there is an older gentlemen who is very much a car fanatic.

you can wash with soapy water and then use 303 as the protectant. it works well.

personally, I do use lexol becasue it's easier to obtain then the 303.

Really, I think it depends on your preference. Lexol is a bit more slick and shiney comapred to the 303. either way, you won't go wrong.

Lexol is the best for the leather and 303 for the vinyl and plastic. Use lexol for your seats and 303 for the dash.

What about "Blue Magic", both the cleaner and the conditioner?

samkws...

barns and saddlery - 404 and Elgin Mills (I think) - stocks all the lexol brand products.. they will also mail it to ya... That's where I get it from...

We should meet up sometime...we seem to be chatting a lot on the forums

BTW... I also used Lexol on all my leather furniture ... and I have cream leather couches... the cleaner is great and they conditioner leaves the room smelling like when we first bought the couches.

Last time I did the car seats, someone at work asked me how old the car was .... cus he commented on the new car smell.

Lexol is available at Pep Boys. 303 might be available at an Acura, BMW, or Mercedes dealer...but at a overinflated price.

No offense to those that have tried it or are thinking about it, but there is absolutely no way I would put soft scrub on my leather seats of a 25,000 car.

I used the lexol cleaner and conditioner and they worked very very well, it was about 25 dollars for both and my seats look very very good. I feel like my car has that showroom shine again :-). I think I am going to go back to pep boys and buy the vinelyx for my dash and interior.

Im sorry guys but I cant see using soft scrub for something like my cars leather seats, this is just my opinion though.

Thanks for the tips. I love this forum!
