clean trim

I personally don't like the wood trim. I want to clean up my interior, and I want to start with the trim. I'm looking to paint the wood silver, does anyone know what kind of paint I'm suppose to use and how do I remove and put back the trim?

The center molding you just open the armrest and pull them out. The door moldings you need to take out the whole door panel to get them out. You can paint them yourself or get a bodyshop to do it. I'm doing my interior with silver metallic vinyl stickers.

I only got the center console pieces done. I still need to work on the door trims, led HU, footwell lights, etc. When I'm done, I'll post pics. Or if I got time I can show you the partials

I know someone has done this mod. I think it may have even been Tim. All I know was that it was the APB.

The center console pieces will pop back in. The door panel ones you need to melt/shave the plastic rivets after you take off the door panel. During X'mas I might do the panels. Here is how it looks like:
