yes, conversion is easy!
have been working on a 2002 cl-s set of driver's sport buckets for my 99 tl! 
just check w/ the dealer what year cl will fit?

wait..you putting cl rear seats in place of the stock rear seats...or putting cl front seats in place of the stock rear seats
i went on the website to compare the specs and it doesnt seem like it would fit...the tl has 3 more inches of hip room...i think it would make sense that the cl seats are thinner...i could be wrong...maybe thats not where hip room is measured

It could still fit, depending on how the hip room was measured. The CL only has 2 seats in teh back and a center console. The TL has three seats. Maybe they divided it funny or something.

yes i want the cl rear seats to replace my tl rear seats i never put 3 people in there and love the glove box in the back of the new maxima and think it would be hot, if there is anyone in ny with a cl that wants the bucket in the back and is willing to meet up and try it let me know
