This year I told my boss I want any gift/bonus for Christmas to be in car parts.

He's giving me a $200 credit!

So.......


I'm thinking of doing the timing kit/valve adjust/intake cleaning on my car, seeing as I have no proof of it ever being done. At the same time, since I have to pull the crank pulley, I'm going to get a underdrive pulley to replace it with.

What timing kits, pulleys, and belts have you all been getting?

I've seen alot of different prices and mfg's online, I have an idea of what I should get, but I would like some real world experiences to help make my decision.

Best timing belt kit for the TL I have found has been Aisin THK001 from Rock Auto. Comes with everything you will need including water pump, tensioner and bearings. I recommend new OE gaskets for everything that you might be taking off.

I got an unorthodox pulley from xlr8 and couldn't be happier. Youcan get a cheaper version on eBay if you want to sae some money

Hey 666Wokker, ya being a bit selfish....that bonus would be better spent on the 'lil lady !

That way it be more justifiable to spend all of your next year's OT on modding the ride.

But, on the other hand you don't want to jeopardize a T-belt failure ....!
